At its heart is a completely redeveloped 431hp M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol engine that delivers instant throttle response across the entire rev range, right up to 7,600rpm. Its low centre of gravity, combined with the use of high tech materials that keeps its weight under 1,500kg, makes it extraordinarily agile and nimble – on road and racetrack.
A brief press of the start button is all it takes to bring the new six-cylinder petrol engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology to life. Its distinctive exhaust note provides instant notice of the power of the M drivetrain. A power that rewards the senses as it unfolds at your command. M Servotronic, Active M Differential and the Adaptive M suspension bring sharp response to every driving adjustment for perfect control.
The power and purpose of the BMW M4 Coupé is evident in every design detail. There’s the air inlets in the front that clarify the volume of air that cools the M drivetrain during its high-performance drives, while the muscular powerdome delineates the contours of the turbocharger engine. Then there’s the extended bonnet, which signals the beginning of an athletic coupé line. Plus, along with the Aero Curtain and Air Breather, which ensures improved airflow efficiency, the M double-slat kidney grille, M gills, exterior mirrors and the M quad exhaust make the BMW M4 Coupé unmistakeable.
Inside, newly developed shell-shaped seats – featuring an illuminated M logo for the driver and front passenger – provide perfect lateral stability. All vital controls in the cockpit are orientated around the driver, guaranteeing precise operation in mere seconds. A motorsport inspired instrument display, unique M leather steering wheel and M gear shift lever finish off a design package that leaves no room for doubt. The BMW M4 Coupé was created to break barriers.
